Cone8v
I started a thread about what steering wheel + hub fits and managed to find the two parts. My steering wheel shafts teeth (where the steering wheel connects to the shaft) were destroyed 5 years ago before i bought the car because it didnt have a wheel and they used pliers to turn the shaft. Which opel models and years steering shafts would fit on my car? I had one manta shaft on the attic from my dads previous manta but the threads are completely shot, and its somehow shorter than than the one on my manta. I see that the shaft is made from two parts and there are two metal pins that hold it together. I could probably build one from two. Just gotta find the top part of the shaft(that holds the teeth and the thread for the nut) .
cam.in.head
you could build 2 from one but remember the joint is set by a nylon ? rivet and needs to be in the right spot . without it it MAY BE FINE but could rattle if the two sections are in any way loose !
