si-north
Whilst at Billing I saw this. Unfortunately the owner was not around at the time so I could not ask questions. I do hope he/she does not mind me put up the picture. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx300/si-north/P120709_1505.jpg What gear box does this use? What sump? I'm guessing its a standard fit as it looked all original! Sorry for the stoopid questions, but my bruv wants to do a conversion such as this into his Shuvit! Anyone know of one for sale?? Thanks
Shuviteer
Try one of the older Fiat twin cams.Bullit proof bottom end and 200bhp without too much trouble. Oh yes, ...............they are rear wheel drive as well so come attached to the gear box if you get the right model.
MrCarlos
That's an underbonnet picture of Andy Turners 1.3 2 Door Ascona - the car itself was actually for sale at Billing. It was a standard option on the continent but not over here, I believe it uses a 4 speed ZF box as found 1.6 / 1.9 / 2.0 cars but with a different bellhousing to suit the family II GM OHC engine. No idea on the sump!!! Carl
