Shug
The metal plate bit at the base is attached to the roll bar. I took bushes off mine in two ways. First: Set fire to it. Second: Cut away as much of bush as possible till you see the metal sleeve inside and tap it off with a hammer and chisel/screwdriver

Shug
No. Dented it with a big hammer to find that one out! The bush is shaped to sit against it. Can kind of see it here: Holds it one side and the other is held by the bolt and washer. If you look down at the end with the bolt out you might see the inner metal sleeve. Shug
You don't hammer the metal plate. Its part of the roll bar. I tried to hammer it off before I realised if you cut away the rubber part of bush you can hammer off the metal sleeve.

costasa
I take off the metal from the old bushe. I start to cut all the rubber, then i put wd40 and i left for 2 or 3 days. Then with the grinder i start to cut to open in half but with very carefull, i cut a little then wen the metal is in contact with the bar i just pass the grinder cutting very soft and eating the piece, wen the piece was hot i hammer and the metal case get off. All went well I will put some pictures later. Thanks for all the advices

Shug
I must have had some weird ass bushes on the roll bar. Only after getting new ones did i realise that metal part should come off. No idea why the old bushes had a metal sleeve on top of that as well Sorry for the crap info earlier. I need a lie down!
