Saw one in Cyprus in a junk yard a couple of days ago and fell in love, now back in the uk and cant seem to find one anywhere, got any tips? 1900SR Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 The GSi was known as the GT/E over here. They are still about, available as a 2 door Coupe or 3 door Combi-Coupe (aka hatch). There were a few GSi models that found there way to the UK in the 80s as a result of people grey importing cars. Officially the "Mk2" was the Manta B, which was facelifted to become the B2. The B2 cars are the ones with the big plastic front bumpers and on the GT/E sideskirts. The B2 is commonly referred to as the Manta C.
