OPEL PARTS GREECE
Does anyone have lying around a set of front wings and a service kit for a varijet carb as the one i got drinks more fuel than concorde . Many Thanks Carl Tel No 07881800523 I would suggest to look for a used one with 100-120 Euros (nice cond) since the repair kit has only gaskets From the other hand we have available the throtle valve body (since this is the main cause of the fuel consumption)

opel2000
Must say, back in 1995 I got through approx 3 so called GOOD 2nd hand Varijet Carbs in the space of a fortnight. In my humble opinion you either have a good one or a bad one, and no way of really knowing until one is bought fitted and car is "hopefully" running. Bear in mind we are 16 years down the road from 1995, the chances of finding a GOOD Varijet must have diminished somewhat now. However will point you to:- D & B Carburettor Specialists Ltd. Cattle Market Road Nottingham Nottinghamshire NG2 3GY These may have what you require, I've used these on a number of occaisions, and in one instance when Weber had ceased productio of the 32/36DGV and none were available anywhere in the UK they sourced me a brand new conversion kit for the Manta. Absolute top blokes, and sensible prices.

Julian
I have a VARIJET off a 1.8, and it looks to be in a very good condition, no play in likeages or bushes, if you are interested I will post it tom you only you pay the postage, you can try it, if it's no good to you , bin it or whatever, if it is suitable send me a fiver for it, it is fairly heavy as you know, so you could lose out on the postage, but, it does look a good carb to me.It didn't do much work because the owner put another carb on in it's place.
