monzta
You can probably only get a replacement part for this, i have never seen that skin thing you mention, also that won´t repair the rust, it will only cover it Best solution is to replace. Dr Manta is the place to go when no-one else has the parts you need. He is VERY expensive, but PS Autoteile are cheaper, and offer alot of stuff for the Manta´s as well . Also Bruhy Exclusiv has alot of parts for the manta´s allthough they mainly do interior parts You should be allright if the car is on the floor when changing this part, don´t need to dismount the entire front axle and bridge for this, only the triangle should be removed., Those can be real bastards to dismount though

You could check up on Ebay.de for maybe a original GM part ? I would place the stands to simulate that the car is on its wheels when doing this. Anyway no harm is done if you set up more stands to keep the car in place better safe than sorry mate
