deanosabby
Hi mate, If this is any good for my Cavvy coupe then I'll take it. I have a 2.2 running a 38 dgas carb and have been using a sytec pro-flow to up the pressure but I think it may not be working properly. mantasrme
Don't think this will work on a carb'd engine, it's meant for injection. Upping the fuel pressure only works on injection, as too high a pressure can flood a carb. Normally on big carb's you need more flow from the pump. Do you have an electric fuel pump fitted or the standard mechanical pump? I might have an Elec pump in the garage
deanosabby
I have a standard pump fitted just now but was looking at going down the electric pump route as the standard pump just doesn't cut the mustard. Let me know what you have as I was looking to get a silver/red top facet pump. Ta, Deano.
mantasrme
Had a look and don't have any pumps left, although i can't remember where the last one went I do have a filter king/ adjustable pressure regulator like this But you don't normally need to adjust the pressure down on a weber carb when using a facet pump, as they self regulate.
