399Road Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 Have you noticed how the Exclusive coupe's rear spoiler's sides start to ripple as the mounting studs inside swell up with rust? I've recently got another good spoiler but wondered if it was possible to cut into the old spoiler's sides from underneath, remove and treat the swollen metal and the repair with something like Tiger seal. If this repair was possible from underneath then it would save having to repaint the spoiler's sides. manta88 Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 Yes Luke ,my spoiler did the same ,i removed it and dug out the rust from underheath and wax oiled it and it's been ok since, you may find it rusted around the mounting holes too.
