3 Mantas Near York, North Yorkshire

Hi one of my mates at work went to look at a Merc at holme upon spalding moor near york, that was on ebay, but when he got there it was a pile of poo!!!!! but guess what the merc owner sat in his yard???? Yep a grey D plate GTE coupe so with me bein his local Manta buddy he rang to tell me what he had found, so yesterday i set off from work with my deposit to have a gander.

When i got to the industrial estate i did go the wrong way but im glad i did there was yet another 2 Mantas at another unit but getting back to the other 1, as soon as i saw it i recognised it from ebay it is originally grey but from the swage line up it has been painted red, What a nail to tell you the truth i have never seen a Manta as bad as that and he wanted £600 for it and said dont bother trying to bid me on that price plus it was a non runner , i no it was a coupe rather than a hatch that adds a bit of value but it was a joke to ask that for it, i did have a good chat to the man who was ok but he was a dreamer.

Then when i left there i set my sat nav back up to come home and went for a look at the other 2, there is a white exclusive coupe that was basically a shell no wheels, axle's, bumpers or interior to be fair the shell is far from scrap and is for sale its £400 and then in amongst the escort mk5 rally car a 106 rally car and a really nice looking citroen AX which was also a rally car it had big arches on it and a 106 rallye engine there was a red B coupe auto, it had loads of OMOC stickers in it but the tax ran out last year i rang the owner of the unit to see if this was for sale as i am need of a Manta but he said it was not his, its a customers but not sure what he want to do with it???? hope he rings me with a good price does it belong to any 1 on here??????

That will be outside Mick and Ryan's at Wizbang Fabrications. That is were my Manta is getting done. Hope it's back inside

Top people with a lot of knowledge and rally heritage, they have done work for Titson "Steve Titmuss" aswell
