mantaboy89 Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 In the middle of fitting injection from a gte to my 79 cav, but since i removed the injection and loom, I've forgotten where some plugs go, got the injectors an intake plumed in, but not sure what plugs to the coil and the small blue plug on the dizzy, can someone help? madmantamik Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 it sounds like you are missing the ignition amplifier module this basically links inbetween the dizzy ,coil and the green wire you have at the existing coil position which gives the pulse for the rev counter. if the vehicle is being converted from carb to fuel injection you will need a switched ignition supply for the coil amplifier the existing points setup uses a resistive wire to supply 6.7 volts to the coil you will need a 12 volt supply for the new electronic ignition coil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
