platman
Hi i am having problems with my clock. i cant get the little light on the clock to work, ihave fitted a new bulb but no good. the wiring looks ok so is it possible that the little bulb holder which fits in the hole on the bck plate of the clock could be at fault. Shug
is it rusty at all? I had problems with half my bulb holders being corroded. Wire brush sorted it.
cam.in.head
obviously make sure you have got 12v to the clock & a good earth to the metal on the back of the clock.(remember it only goes live with the ignition on not the lights as you would expect) most likely problem is the holder. if you remove it you will see that it gets its earth from a very small little brass tag on the side. make sure this is definately sticking out a bit & that the hole in the clock is clean metal
