h0tr0dder_uk
Hi guys, I just got back from fitting a brand new weber 32/36 dgev carb to a friends opel manta (regaladojasmine). We managed to get it running but need to get a linkage adaptor for the throttle cable. Does anyone know of one that will work? Also there is a tiny little vacuum line that ran from the bottom of the solex carb. There doesnt appear to be anywhere to connect it to on the weber. Any ideas what to do with it? Thanks guys. monzta
Hi i cant remember if the weber uses a ball linkage ? If it does you can use a throttle cable from a GTE. Regarding the extra vaacum hose those can be used for loads of stuff, like econometer in the car, etc. If you don´t have any use for it just blind it off, but be sure that it is completely shut. You of course have the vaacum hose on the ignition right ?
rayman
Think when i did mine i used the ball off the solex, put it on the weber but had to lenghten the bracket or shorten the shaft.Plus had to put a spacer under the swivel bracket to make it run level with the carb
