lammy
I have a small problem with my brakes,I have bled them and they seemed okay but now the problem has returned, didnt drive more than 100 meters then put it in the garage. The pedal is solid and firm with the engine turned off but when i start the engine and keep my foot on the pedal it slowly goes to the floor, there is also a hissing noise from the pedal area as i push the pedal.I am not losing any fluid anywhere as it is sting at a steady level and no leaks to be found. Could it be a faulty servo or is this a common problem with Mantas. Cheers Raymond
bris jas
I had the same problem couple of months back, although the brakes still worked the pedal went down once i started the engine. I had that weekend went to a track day, someone mentioned to me the front pads could of got over heated and glazed. I took them out and gave them a gentle sand and that helped a lot, made the pedal harder although still goes a bit soft when i start the engine.
