Andrew65
Has anybody got a copy of an original Opel UK workshop manual for a Manta B. Not the Haynes one. Thanks.
Joe
If you mean the Ascona B and Manta B one in a large orange ring binder with hundreds of pages, I have a copy. It is for the 1970s cars if that's the era you're after. Please let me know either way. Thanks, Joe. Edited October 2, 2012 by Joe
Andrew65
Joe. Thanks for the info. I knew of the 1970s one but sadly I am after one for an 80s Manta. My GTE being from 1986. I presume Opel did one for this era? Thanks. Andrew
Joe
Thanks Andrew. I don't know of the 1980s one in hard copy, but I've a feeling it might have been on a fiche. I'm sure someone will be along to enlighten us both shortly!

Andrew65
Andy. I was afraid that might be the case. I was spoilt with my Dolomite Sprint in having superb workshop manual and parts catalogues. BL did do the occasional good things. Made my resto a lot easier. Wonder what the chaps in the dealerships used though. Did they print out from the microfiche. That surely would have been a pain, probably why labour rates were high? 15 minutes fixing the problem, 45 minutes going through the microfiche.
