te2800 Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) as above 1972 tax exempt manta a series rolling shell axle engine and box in situ..very good condition i have got it down to bare metal inside and is very very good condition with minimal welding required....iner bays are perfect and original .. doors shut with a click and glass close perfectly as well ... also excellent uinder the bonnet and atround by the headligt panels ....nose cone has some rust underneath could do with changing ..full roll safety devices cage available as well as are 5;1 lsd axle 4 speed straight cut gearbox ford conversion plate fitted..and 2.4 200 bhp engine at extra cost ..also chevette pedal box bilsteins rose jointed torque tube ..perfect for historic rally car ..please no parts are for sale unless shell is sold first ..if someone can tell me how to put pics here i will post them..£1500 Edited March 13, 2013 by te2800 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
te2800 Posted March 13, 2013 Author Share Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) And please no timewasters or forum users that just want to come and look then discuss its issues on the forum.im selling it not here for discussion..it ned some work to finish but i can assure you as a shell they cant be many as good as this out there as a genuine basis..its 41 years old so go easy ..ive had it 6 years and couldnt believe how much shiny metal was showing throo on the floorpan ..only selling due to change of project ..i have everything available to put this into a nice historic rally car .the donor parts from my other a series rallycar took me 15 years to perfect and it turns in as good as anyescort and handles like a dream.. ive caught many an escort in the lanes in the donor car and finished 2nd overall on a nite rally in the wet and the car was a dream..in the 15 years ive had the donor car it has never let me down or stopped on any rally a true testament to the quality of parts and mods that were done to make the manta a into a winning car..i have twin 55 webers or twin 48 webbers even modified a manifold which has twin su's that were used in the lanes and superb driveabillity..i have aproper 5;1 lsd with enem cwp that is bombproof a strong straight cut gearbox again bombproof and so may spares available i could fill billing myself...also could be agreat basis for a mint roadcar should you need it Edited March 13, 2013 by te2800 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
