Jongould Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Hi, thought I would come and introduce myself before I go off hunting for parts, my names jon and I am about to purchase a 1983 manta gte saloon from a good customer of mine. It has been standing for about ten years and the engine/brakes are knackered. I am looking to fit a V8 as I have wanted a V8 for many years although I'm open to other options still, I shall also be fitting 16v brakes to aid in stopping... We're having a gathering of some Manta's at the Halfway House near Brentwood on the 30th June if you want to pop along and say hi! there's a thread in public events section. also, have a chat with Simon P, he's the best local guy to talk to about V8 conversions in Manta's.
