mantaboy89
Built a 2.2 motor but can't sort fueling system was going to fit a 2.0e head with single Webber 32/36 carb and 2.2 cam, is this going to drastically reduce the performance of the motor or should it be ok, not chasing massive power just want a cheap manta build out this month, so have to do it with what I have, will eventually run twin s.u carbs, any help on this subject much appreciated. lamchop77
2.0 head on a 2.2 is ok. Comp ratio will actually be slightly higher as the 2.0 combustion chamber is smaller. If your using a Weber just use the matching cam from a 2.0 otherwise you will need to get it set up to get it running right. Use a 2.0 dizzy aswell. mantaboy89
Will need the carb setting up anyway, so thought the 2.2 cam would be better for a couple of bhp.???
mantaboy89
Also, anyone know if a 28/32 weber would do the job? Thanks
lamchop77
Don't know the cam details but I might have a 32/36 grab Weber off a pinto. I'll have a look!! Chris

swebooy
The 2,0e cam will get you more bhp then the 2,2 cam.
