opelnz
Definitely a better finish than the Manta DIY jobbie! Did Crayford ever do any conversions on Mantas, or only Cavalier Mk1? I know it would be easy to change the nose to a single slot, but would still be registered as a Cavalier. I can't disagree with you there. Have a read at this: http://www.cavalierandchevetteclub.co.uk/cavalier mk1 centaur.htm for more info. Apparently 2 Manta's were converted. Both would have presumably been 78/79 SRB models. You could always use a 4-slot nose as well! But yes, it would still be a Cavalier as far as the DVLA would be concerned. Quite a few have been converted to Opel spec, a lot with GT/E interiors and bumpers, so it's nice to see one looking as it should. Not sure why number 25 would be pre-production, and I'm sure it wasn't the only 1900 built either.
