Robin Frazer
Hi everyone - I am new to this club. I have purchased an Opel Manta Berlinetta 1977 and wish to register it with the DVLA as a first registration. They have asked me to provide a Certificate of Conformity which normally is obtainable from the Owner’s Club. I have messaged and try to contact the administrators but have not had a reply as yet . Can anyone advise how to proceed with this as the matter is urgent. Thank you Robin
Jessopia74
Hey Robin, I think you will need to go through Vauxhall heritage. I have some info somewhere to email a chap that will confirm the data and build date etc for a small cost (sub 50quid). EDIT attached the contact info, Inknow you want something slightly different, but I would email them 👍 Edited May 7 by Jessopia74 Adding info
1900SR
A certificate of conformity would only come from the manufacturer, but as your car was first manufactured more than 10 years ago you shouldn't need one. Do you have the registration papers for the car from the country it was imported from?
