Cone8v
I cant find injector lower O rings for my 2.0 E manta (yellow injectors) Do they fit to any other cars and can anyone supply me with part codes so that i can search for them in my country. Are they in any special size or not?
Cone8v
Found the seals on edelschmiede website but id rather not wait 10 to 15 days. Does anyone know the measurements for the o rings? I would try to find similar ones by size
cam.in.head Posted Saturday at 13:41 Share Posted Saturday at 13:41 i had the same problem even from a injector specialist. they are not round 'o' rings but square section o rings and obviously need to be heat proof to a degree but not fuel proof as they dont come into contact with it . im sure that rooting around the internet / google images etc should bring up some possibilities as similar injectors were used on other cars . and to be honest if you had some sort of accurate cutting machine/ jig im sure you could make some from "slices" of hose ?

I found nothing close to the square ones here Dad found 4 new o rings he was holding on to. They are the same size but arent square and i put them in a couple of minutes ago (same round O-rings were already on the car and they sealed perfectly but were very hard and started cracking). This is before i saw your message i didnt think of cutting a hose .Thats a pretty good idea 🙂 ill order a square set to have in reserve but these round ones are doing the job perfectly.
