MadamVectra Posted June 27, 2007 Author Share Posted June 27, 2007 Well guys really is gonna be touch and go if my A makes Billing done nowt be rain[!][!] dry days seem to be spent re-rubbing down and re-priming the car, car is parked outside under 3 covers, off to the bodyshop tomorrow to get painted on the weekend got next week booked off so as long as she comes home on monday looking blue n shiney will do my very best to get her re-built to a state that can be driven and an MOT taken before thursday!!!! so if she does make it except it to be with no trim or even back seats!! MadamVectra Posted June 27, 2007 Author Share Posted June 27, 2007 Right i give up had a bad week friday - direct lighting hit onto the phone pole...result was blown flat screen monitor and router! spend nearly 3 hours on the phone to bt to solve the no internet connection...have to wait till monday for engineer to call. monday - engineer calls confirming the router is blown!! tuesday - goes and gets a new router...easy to connect up...spend 1 hour on the phone to bt to get a password!! 2 hours after starting set up i get connected to the internet...champion i thought and was a much quicker too... 2 hours later pc crashes!!!!!7pm time to go to work yuk wednesday - right format time no problem there i thought !!!! formattted nicely comes to put the xp product key in can i find it can i hell!!!quick call to a m8 who lends me a copy of xp and product key.... in the meantime Hubby Dave is getting the Manta wheels back on ready to roll onto the trailer tomorrow.....gets wheels on puts some nice fresh petrol in puts the jump leads on borrowing mums vectra! goes to start the Manta she turns over but will not run after the key is returned to normal posistion...dave tries to start the car but looks like the starter motor has given up the ghost!!! pc not running right either so now iam really peaved off had a flipping guts full so its looking like no manta for billing [!][!][!][!][!][!][!] MadamVectra Or Should That Be MadamMantaMaddness!! 1972 Manta 1.9 A is Best Dawn W.
