welder
Pick it up tomorrow with its first MOT for 19 years! Only failed on a couple of brake pipes I'd forgot to clip up properly and a loose shocker bolt (DOH!!) Just tracking and handbrake otherwise but I'd left that for the Garage anyway. Well Chuffed[][][] I want to be an enigma, or do I?

welder
Thanks folks Hope to get it taxed on Saturday then it's back on the road. Just gotta sort the fuel and temp gauges (Voltage regulator I suppose) and I think the brakes may be dragging but that could be with it having stood. Then I've just got to get out of the habit of getting in through the right side door![][] I want to be an enigma, or do I?
midasmesh
[]Yes thats a problem with these left hookers, remembering which side the drivers door is on. welder
Well drove it for the first time proper today and all seemed reasonably well. Nothing fell off or caught fire so that's a bonus! Just got a few little bits to sort like the non functioning heater fan but nothing too grim. Then it needs a bloody good clean to get the grubby fingermarks off it! The previous owner reckoned the cam chain was noisy but it sounded ok to me, pulled well and felt like a good B should. Bl**dy weird driving a left hooker though, i really had to concentrate on not putting in first instead of third for instance, never mind not changing gear with the door handle! Kit Car Show here we come!! (Hopefully!)[][][] I want to be an enigma, or do I?
