retrocarclub
Hi, i'm considering investing in a Quaife ATB Differential for my mk1 Cavalier saloon. However, the Quaife website doesn't list a diff. for a mk1 Cavalier so would I be ok getting a Manta diff. or should I get an Ascona diff? Cheers Christian

Cheers Christian which axle do you have, 1.3 - 1.6/1.9. if its the 1.6/1.9 then order the manta diff, you need to also find a good gearbox/axle reconditioners to fit the diff as the diff needs shimming up to get the crown wheel to pinion gear aligned correctly or it could go ar*e up. Neither of those, mines a 2.0 Oh really I thought they were supposed to be a straight swap?
16VManta
It's the medium axle, so yes it's the one. The only difference between the diffs is whether you want one for a 3.44:1 or a 3.67:1.
retrocarclub
Ok cheers. Has anyone ever fitted one on here?
GTEPETE
Fitted these is a professional job......plus cost is dependant on how good your diff bearings are, these are expensive to buy
