That Rover V8 project may be in a right state but if he'd be happy taking the £250 start bid, then that's a lot of kit for next to nowt. The shell given the work it needs is pretty much value-less I reckon, but you're getting a rebuilt Rover V8 (I hope he's got photos and receipts, etc) with tonnes of spares and a ready modded sump, prop and although not the best gearbox option it's all fitted with hydraulic clutch and all. If there was a decent custom stainless exhaust with it I'd be bidding double the start price right now, to be honest I think if anyone was ever planning a RV8 Manta project this would be the car to buy, junk/sell on the shell and use your own/buy a better one.
