Exclusive Opel
Just seen this on ebay: ebay Just about made out the reg number and checked it on the DVLA website because seller claims they can't find the log book. The details came back as: The vehicle details for E544 NUW are: Date of Liability 01 01 2006 Date of First Registration 08 09 1987 Year of Manufacture 1987 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1979CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour WHITE Vehicle Type Approval Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) Marker VIC required A Vehicle Identity Check (VIC) marker has been set against this vehicle record. For more information on the VIC marker please visit Vehicle Identity Check As you can see it needs a VIC check. Insurance write off? You can check to see what a VIC check involves at the DVLA website here Buyer beware! Or I may have got all this completely wrong!
1900SR
If it needs a VIC then chances are it's a cat C write off. This'll explain the lack of a log book as the insurance company will have sent it back to DVLA. Once the VIC check has been done a new V5 will be issued.
