spiney_norman Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Click here, TJM sells brand new ones, they ain't cheap but it's worth remembering that second hand ZF ones tend to go for £600+ when they occasionally come up on ebay.
daisybump Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Look nice, problem is i'm a bit out of my depth with this one, don't know enough about lsd set ups etc.. pre loads and ramp angles.. ..???
rutts Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 firstly you need to decide what diff ratio you want/require as you put 1800 gte axle. the 1.8 has a dfferent ratio than gte. you need to know which diff unit you buy as the unit itself has a different part number for the off-set for the crown wheel depending on ratio. either buy a LSD off TJM and tell him what ratio you are using and whether tarmac/forest or road use . or contact www.thegearboxman.co.uk he has trans x type LSD diffs on the shelf usually and has spares in stock if you need them. hope this helps
Roadrally Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Hi, I have a ZF LSD for your axle 4061004076 is the part number which is for cwps greater than and including 3.67-1 which I believe the 1.8 was. Has had new ramps fitted and has spare friction plates with it. I had it as a spare for my chevette rally car but its now gone so no longer required. If your interested make me an offer, or its going on ebay if they get up to £600! Cheers Steve 07870690349
