Manta A Problem

Hi,

my manta started making some noise.I's sounds like diferential is gone , kind of buzzing.As I accelerate the noise is bigger and bigger.

Is the differential or somenthing else?

Somebody told me that it could be some pto shaft bearing?

What should I do to find the malfunction ?

Does the noise change if you take your foot off the gas after you've accelerated?

Firstly have a look at the rubber mountings on the tourque tube, you might need to undo it to see how much movement there is but its not difficult.You can replace these, if not with oe parts but other rubbers modified to suit. If its the diff then you need to rebuild or replace, no prpblem I have one spare. (End of sales pitch)

Yes the noise changes if I take foot off the gas, if I press the clutch pedal while driving the buzz is gone.

No, everyting is normal.The source of the sound is in the back of the car
