mantasrme Posted November 24, 2010 Share Posted November 24, 2010 I'm currently installing a 3.0 24v Carlton engine in the front of a manta Just looking at the alternator mounting. The original bracket is huge and includes the power steering pump, and doesn't clear the manta bay Is there an alternator only bracket from a different car or maybe the 12v that fits the 24v block? andyc Posted November 24, 2010 Share Posted November 24, 2010 You want to be looking for a mount assy from a 12v six pot that runs a 90amp alternator and i've a funny feeling that you move the alternator to the left, dissy side of the engine as it would have been on the normal 2.0 CIH motor Andy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
