611 Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Hi Jon Finaly got to the axel today! Its in good condition, just a bit of rust on one of the spring hangers. It has all been stripped down as i was going to use it for a rear disc setup so it is just the axel. Ive done the rear conversion on mine so if your going to do that i can help with info on doing it. The diff inner had been sat in a nice dry place in the garage and the outer bearings look ok, but it might be worth changing them before you put the axel in the car. Dont know if i have torque tube and anti roll bar, but will have a look in loft. Here are some pictures. Let me know if your still interested.
