johnboy Posted March 27, 2011 Share Posted March 27, 2011 Bought myself a manta b 5 speed box from a club member this weekend but i need the gear lever and the remote section that bolts to the top/back of the box and a speedo worm drive gear as well, any body got one to sell or a knackereed box that i can canibalise, cheers John. paulmanta Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Are you putting it in an A series, if so the standard 5 speed linkage is no good. I have a solution though, I had a batch of laser cut brackets made that enable a 5 speed box to go in an A or an early car that was fitted with a 4 speed box without cutting or altering the tunnel at all.
