Pity my old V8 topic is not on here still, especially the part where I bought a car, already fitted with a V8 inc Headers etc. etc. Er, finally ended up using the "Gearbox" out of this car, and nothing else. and even that was due to be replaced due to it being pretty damn naff.

Steel mate.......... Have A "VERY VERY CLOSE LOOK" at the prospective car, i'm assuming you already have, then go and have a good think, for instance do you really know how well it has been built, how oval were the pistons, what Comp pistons, what cam where is the spec sheet for cam, what timing gear fitted. etc.

Bargains can crop up and prove not to be in the long run of things "Sometimes"
