daisybump Posted February 28, 2012 Share Posted February 28, 2012 Anybody know what wires go from the ecu to the engine management light on the dash, i still have the ascona clocks fitted and just a bunch of spare wires coming out the ecu.. mantasrme Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Pin 22 from the ecu brown/blue wire goes to a lamp and an ignition 12v feed to the other side Then when you earth pin 13 brown/yellow it puts the ecu into diagnostics mode. I've put this to a switch with the other side to earth, so i can just flick the switch and check codes whenever i want If you check codes with the engine not running it will always give you the crank sensor as a fault (as the engine is not going around so there is no signal) It doesn't mean this is actually faulty Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
