Hi all I'm planning a rebuild on my A and would like to get some parts in stock ready so if you have any of these let me know please :)

Top ball joints - new or Very low mileage

Lower ball joints- again new or Very low usage (I would consider complete arms with low miles on the joints.

Passenger side door- not expecting mint but solid frame around the hinge area preferred.

ANY new old stock panels considered. Floor parts , chassis parts, boot floor parts.

What you got guys?

Cheers

Tony

I might have the top ones, low milage. Let me have a dig around in the garage and get back to you.

What chassis parts are you after?

Andy

Ok Andy thanks, let me know. Chassis parts-anything really. Ive got 2 A's and possibly a 3rd one coming so it all helps . Id really like a front panel that has the headlight holes in it (not sure what it called).

im after 60 for the passenger door and 80 for the drivers i have spare, check out my ad for the pics

OK I've seen that now. I'll have to pop over and have a look at that. Can you pm me your address and a number to get you on and i'll arrange that when i get chance.

Cheers

Hi Tony, In case you weren't aware there are two types of upper ball joints fitted to the A series. One of them is adjustable for camber, it has a square on the end and a notch so you can see where you are with the adjustment. Photo below. The other is just a regular ball joint without adjustment.

Paul, thanks for the reminder, that was in the (failing) memory bank lol. I gather each will fit the other if I can only get one type?

Novashed, I'll speak to you about yours when I pop over to you.

Cheers folks

Hi Tony

I cant find the top ones that i thought i had, but they might be buried under engine bits in the garage!! and will have a better look tomorrow. but have found some that are a bit older, but look ok, im not sure of mileage but they are yours for the cost of postage if you want them? will take some pictures later and let you know how i get on looking for the others.

Hi Tony

These are the ones i can find. top-ball-joint.jpg

The bellows look ok and they move all right. They are still attached to the wheel hub backing so i can remove them over the weekend and pop them in the post early next week if you want them? As i said i will just charge the postage.

let me know what you think.

Andy
