curryracer
I have posted on here before, but thought I'd try again. Can anyone help with a source for a propshaft flange to fit the Manta A axle?? I want to add two top links and retain the standard bottom arms to fit my shell with link boxes and big tunnel. Any suggestions on which companies to ask if no-one knows? Thanks in advance. rutts
i was once told the standard manta one fits but you must of tried that so guess it wont. think you need a carlton one from the early opel carlton/record give kev abbott a try he may still have one from his carlton axle stripping time. mantasrme
The splines on the manta ones are right but there is no provision at the rear for a oil seal to fit, which you need when the torque tube is removed. A mk1 carlton axle is 5 linked as standard and the pinion yoke has a machined surface for the oil seal This picture shows it better, mk1 carlton on left manta on right. Not actually sure what the one in the middle is from. I have a spare mk1 carlton one available. But as they are very rare i want £25 for it, PM me if your interested
