Kevin Abbott
Does anyone with an original fixed rear quarter car know if this below is fitted into the corners? Or do I remove it? The car originally had opening rear windows but I'm changing to fixed. I'm not talking about the rubber window mounts, it's the infill in the corner. stradacab
Kev, I'm not sure I know what you mean? If you are referring to the shape of the metalwork on the body, they are identical. The hinge rubbers aer deleted as the rectangle is covered by the non-opening window rubber (but I guess you knew that) Any help?
Kevin Abbott
Yea it's that curved bit of metal in the corner that is fixed over the rear quarter. I'd thought that it was only there on opening rear quarter windows due to the shape of the window seal. With the fixed rear rubbers in it seems tight on that piece in the corner. As I'm removing it in a min anyway to get the last bit of rear quarter off I'm not sure if it needs to go back on.
