Thomas77GR
Hi folks do I need a special one (where can I get one) or is it possible to get away by using one from another type of car or make one from cork gasket sheets? it's an MOT failure and a safety risk so any help is appreciated thanks Thomas
Shug
I guess you mean for the sender? Its just a ring of cork, so you could cut your own and use a hole punch for the bolt holes.

611
Hey Andy Kept one as a spare. As im doing with most of the cheap gaskets etc.. just in case :-) Do you know part number and price? as if its cheap and easy to get it might be worth Thomas getting it from GM or i can send him mine if they only come in a pack, as i have found out with a few bits. If you ever need the 2.4 thermostat/head, gasket i have 10 spare :-) orderd a pack (and they come in 10's) then found one in the headgasket set hiding under some other bits!! found a fuel sender one on here: http://www.opel-classic-parts.com/en/S208_Fuel_tank_gauge_and_gasket/A1084_Gasket_fuel_tank_gauge_Kadett_C_Oly_A_MantaAscona_A_B_Rek_CCom_A_B_Adm_Dipl_B_1966-78.html Andy
