hi guys, just joining from ontario canada previously from west mids area, had a berlinetta A series back in 82 and always wanted another! i just sold my 67 nova ss to fund the build on my 73 manta, they are extremely rare here as were only sold for 3 or 4 years in the states, not in canada! there are lots of opel gt's about for dirt cheap but been looking for a manta for 2 yrs, finally got one from michigan with 58000 miles that is pretty solid except for pass side footwell, looking to put an sr20 motor in it or s2000 etc, i would love to keep it gm but apart from saab motors theres no choice! rear drive manual trans are a no no too! i looked into a solstice turbo but the direct injection is a pain and the standalone harness is 2 grand! my easiest option is an ls1 but i wanted a cooler option, as over here we have ls motors in everything lol, i also want an irs set up if i can get one narrow enough without arch extensions. I will get some pics up of the start of the stripdown and renderings when they come of what it will look like finished, i have been lurking on here for a while and it brings back a lot of memories building the nova in a cramped single garage! i am good buddies with mick wilkes of wacky racers fame with the badass bedford that did the hotrod drag week and pete (hotrodder uk on here) who moved to san diego 3 yrs ago, i look forward to being on the forum!

hi mike and welcome to the forum :D

you need to upload the image to a web based host service, such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.uploadit.org to name but two.
You'll need to register first but both are free for simple image hosting, though you can upgrade to do other things for a small fee.
Once registered you can begin uploading images Note the "URL" box with it's text (highlighted). Copy this text (left click and drag to select all the text, right click -> copy or CTRL-C). In Uploadit, you get a list. Click the list and copy the http address from the new window.

On to the forum, you have two options. You can simply paste the http address and post a link to your picture. Anyone who wants to see it will need to click the address. This is good if you want to post a lot of images
If you want to display the actual image, use the "img" tags:
http://premium1.uplo...hotobucket4.JPG

That's all there is to it. As you may have figured, you don't actually post a picture but point the forum software to a net address which it converts into an actual picture.

Hope this helps.
