Sutty2006
While fitting a C20xe to my hatch, I have bought a facet fuel pump. However, there is no obvious sign to tell me which way fuel runs through it. I have tried to pump fuel through both ends but nothing happens, The pump seams to work but no test fuel gets pumped through. Do these need pressure in the line to work? And does anyone know which way fuel is supposed to run through it? Its a crap product if the makers cant be arsed to draw an arrow on it for fuel flow direction :/ Cheers
bris jas
I've got one fitted to my V8 and when set up works well, i think from memory the direction was only shown on the instruction paperwork not on the pump, if no one else can help let me know and i'll crawl under the car later and let you know which way mine runs
lamchop77
Solid state or red/blue/silver comp type? My red comp type has it stamped on IN at the bottom OUT at the top. Yu may need a one way valve before the pump as mine drains back after a week or so and can be an arse to reprime on the moggy i'm building, otherwise they perform flawlessly!! I'm pretty sure they are meant to be used in conjunction with a Filter King filter bowl/pressure reg. HTH Chris
Sutty2006
Completely forgot to post up the picture I took of it. It's a cylindrical silver unit. The in and out are at each end of the cylinder.... One end is bigger than the other, the small end has a poss and neg terminal.
