had this for a long time, has served me well, but It just hasn't got quite enough reach to clear my manta front panel without denting it, so to add funds to the replacement it needs to. will lift considerable weights considering its age, took the lsV8 out of my van with it the other week!

it is a worm screw type crank handle lift, very useful for fine adjustments when setting new engine mounts etc

£50 colledted from Northampton, or can meet for diesel money

Hi. Im not buying it, but I want to just say..... wow. I have the exact same hoist in my workshop..... only it still has the original razor blade wheels. I finally bent it pulling a 24valve V6 and auto box out of a granada (which i ended up dropping onto its disks to clear the slam panel!).

I know what you mean about hitting the nose on a manta. I have a few chips of paint missing from mine as it just doesnt go quite high enough...... but i cant part with it, dad bought it for £6 off a hire shop in the 80's hahaha.

And i know for a fact these wont lift a 300tdi disco engine, been there done that bent it even more. Good luck with the sale!
