I have 60mm spax lowering springs on Monroe gas shocks (standard fitment) Hope that helps

evo3000
thanks evo just heard story's of the bumper stops knocking when breaking and needing ajustable shocks.. what does your car drive like with 60mm springs? well tbh its a firm ride to say the least, and will not be to everyones liking but it handles like its on rails on her 16 inch tsw,s. Your 40mm springs are the safe option.

Rick-Manta
You could potentially hit the bump stops which can give you a nasty jolt, so maybe worth shortening them when you've got the upper and lower wishbones exposed before putting the new springs in.
