sjb6268
hi there Im after some advice, recently the bottom end on my cavalier 1600gl has gone so I'm using this as a chance to go through and rebuild the engine, I'm slowly sourcing what parts i can find, but some parts I'm not sure on does anyone have a recommendation for a decent cam to use in the 16s engine
rutts
A kent 214 would be a good cam i think, ask lambchop77 he is a bit of a guru on cih stuff. Just sold a couple of big valve heads for cih would help it breath. A nice weber 32/36 would also help.
plumster
Don't bother, just pop in the std cam with the Weber as Rutts said. I had the Kent in mine along with the weber conversion, was glad to get it out after a couple of years, the difference is not worth the messing.
