Drivers door removal - how when door will not open?!

I want to swap the drivers door on my Cav Coupe project, but it is currently impossible as I cant open the door to get at the hinge pins.

Is there a way of removing the door card and 'friggin' the mechanism to get the door open?

All help and suggestions appreciated.

Take the seat out and that will give you full access to the door card. Once the card is off you can get to the latch and play around with it. Also if you can get the wing off ifs so much easier to get to the hinge pins
