Julian B
Hi Nick Just wondered whether you could please help? Do you have, or know someone who might, a standard exhaust manifold for a manta B 2.0SR? Regards Julian
CalCol
Not had any carb parts for years, I'm afraid Julian. New manifolds are very rare, especially as they're handed (RHD manifolds are different to LHD ones) so the usual German suppliers won't be able to help either. Best I can suggest is finding a good used (un-cracked) one, shot blast and fix any broken screw remnants you might have, then get it ceramic coated to preserve it. Paul Newport may be able to help with a used core - he has a seemingly endless supply of used parts... Nick
Julian B
Thanks Nick, much appreciated for the info. How do I go about contacting Paul Newport. I've only just re-joined OMOC. Many thanks Julian

Luisetegsi
Good morning Nick About this item Door top weatherstrip, Manta, right - 09282840 (1 52 255) - £85 is this the Rubber which seals the door glass against the b pillar at the off/driver side? regards Luis
CalCol
Hi Luis, No, sorry. This is the strip that goes up the A pillar and across the top of the door opening to seal the glass against the body. The one that seals against the B pillar is the other half of the door seal and seals the lower half of the A post, the bottom of the door opening and the B pillar. The seal you're after is coloured to match the upholstery, which colour are you looking for? And which side? If you're in Spain then your driver's side is left, in England it's right... Thanks, Nick

Thanks, Nick Hi Nick Are you saying the full door seal is composed of two parts And the One I need is the one which seals the half bottom of Pilar a, the bottom of the door opening ( across the sill) and b pillar. Is the B pillar in full all the way up to the top "corner"? I'm not any near to the car at the moment, but I guess the interior trim is grey. And the side I need is the right hand side. Driver side in the UK, passenger side in Spain
CalCol
Correct. If you need the piece that seals against the B-pillar you need the lower half. Also, be careful as the lower seal is different between coupé and hatchback (CC). For the grey interior (trim 159, 359 or 599) the part numbers are: 1 57 097 / 90238330 Hatchback, right side 1 57 098 / 90236338 Coupé, right side The other "grey" is called anthracite, it's a darker grey. The trim codes for anthracite are 158, 188, 358, 458 or 598 and the part numbers are: 1 57 013 / 90171107 Hatchback, right side (I have two new ones of these in stock) 1 57 005 / 90171115 Coupé, right side On later cars (with a square VIN plate in the engine bay) the trim code on the line marked "Farbe Color" and is the second number on that line.
