Irmscher Man
SHOW UPDATE - PRACTICAL CLASSICS CLASSIC CAR & RESTORATION SHOW IS POSTPONED. I have just heard from the organisers that the Practical Classics Restoration show at the NEC at the end of March 2020 has been postponed due to the current global health crisis. As you probably know, the OMOC were planning to display 4 cars at the event this year and had been given quite a decent sized plot, so this is a real disappointment but completely understandable. Even between ourselves, we had begun to think about who would be best staying away from the show and who could offer cover.....now the decision has been made we don't have to worry about unncessary exposure to 1000's of people over the course of the weekend. Details from the site; " The event team have been continually monitoring the latest public health and government guidelines regarding the evolving COVID-19 situation and acting in accordance with their advice. The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is the most important factor and therefore the only action for all involved is to postpone. We are working with the NEC to find suitable options to reschedule the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery, please bear with us as we work to secure a new date line. Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled date." For more details please see the main organisers site. https://www.necrestorationshow.com/

Irmscher Man
FURTHER UPDATE ! Due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, the August dates for the Restoration show are now not possible, so this show has been postponed until March of 2021. The message from the show organisers is as follows: Important update regarding the show As a consequence of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with Discovery, will now be postponed to 26-28 March 2021. Everyone involved in putting the show together is extremely disappointed that the ultimate restoration experience will not be brought to the community this year. However, the health and well-being of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is of the upmost importance. With the government’s roadmap suggesting that restrictions on movement will still be in place for some time, it is therefore the right decision for us to cease planning for an event of this size and importance in August. We will now be putting all our efforts into delivering an extra special restoration show in 2021 and a fantastic meeting of the community for our flagship event, the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, in November. Clarion Events is working with other event organisers, venues and government to develop guidelines on how to deliver the best versions of our events while ensuring the health and safety of all involved. We will update you further on the measures we are putting in place in due course Exhibitor, Sponsor and Trader Information All stand and sponsorship bookings will be transferred to the 2021 dateline. What to do next You don't need to do anything at this stage as all stand and sponsorship bookings will be transferred to the 2021 event. If you have any specific queries about the 2021 show then please contact your usual Stand Sales representative. However, they will be in touch soon to discuss participation in the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, in November, which we plan to run as scheduled. Any questions?
