ANDY ABBOTT
So most of you will be familiar with this one, bought from here in cars for sale section. First run out and I got a little carried away and gave it some proper bean to see how it handled the power, the answer was not very well ! 😂 full boost 3rd gear and boom prop shaft exploded and put me in to a rather sketchy situation. Any how I managed to keep a hold of it and bring it to a safe stop without it putting me on my lid or going through a wall. To be fair I was warned of a vibration at around 80mph and was poss the prop, but wasnt expecting it to snap in half 😂.  I've had a custom prop made now in 2 pieces with a proper centre bearing which should be good to handle the power, I've also fitted it to the car. I've pulled the interior and gave the inside a good going over as it was quite rough looking inside, I'm now happy with the results. I'll be going through this car to check over everything and make sure it's safe and it will be getting a new front bumper, new lights and a full re paint. Project images are available to Club Members Only, Click to become an OMOC Member. Jessopia74
Where does the cage pickup on the inside of the A post Andy? Â The roll cage in the 400 Project I purchased has front A post bars that go up under the roof that interferes with dash mounting.

Its boxed into the floor around jacking point area, then goes up under the dash, and I'm assuming they was planning on then bringing the tube through the heater vent holes.
