TJM
Hello to all, Further to supplying 5 Stud Front hub kits I have just recived an initial estimate for getting new 2 piece shafts/flanges to replace the standard shafts. These will come with matching 5 x 120PCD flange and 70mm spigot to match the fronts, there are 2 options depending upon engine power: 0-250 BHP £425 + VAT per shaft. 250-600 BHP £475.00 + VAT per shaft. These would be just the shaft and flange (no bearings) and prices above are if I purchase 5 sets at a time (to be confirmed once I send a pattern to company). Is this something that would be of interest to OMOC members? Regards Tim Edited September 28, 2020 by TJM
Jessopia74
Was looking for your post about these, sure it was on FB. I have a couple of questions on those, are these new parts or modded exchange shafts? Also what is spec difference between the 2different shafts? TJM
These will be new shafts and the material used is different between the 2 types of shaft. Flanges will be the same material and suitable for both set ups. Regards Tim
GTEPETE
Can I ask, they will work std wheel bearings and is the overall track will be the same as the std Manta? You mention 2 piece axles, does this mean the shaft is bolted to the flange like some 4HA axles??
TJM
These are going to be designed to be direct replacement with no increase in track width using standard bearings. They will be 2 piece, so shaft and hub will be splined and bolted together. Regards Tim
