Jonathan Pounsett
The price range for OBD scanners is vast, ranging from about £10 to £2K. Can anyone recommend a good one toward the lower end of this range?
Jessopia74
If stand-alone I have one of these in my tools@home https://www.amazon.co.uk/Foseal-Reader-Scanner-Display-Screen/dp/B07RQCP5PY/ impressive for its price, but I did pay less, think it was around £15 when I got it But loads of people do seem to like the Bluetooth ones that use an app, Guess the software updates would be a benefit. 1
Moonmonkey
I've got one of the bluetooth ones, the readers are pretty simple and cheap. The apps vary, typically the more you pay the more you can do. Some of the cheap ones only give you codes and don't let you reset. Some apps allow you to subscribe for a month, so if you don't use it much you don't have to outlay too much. Some of the apps will give you live data while running as well so someone can watch it while you drive.
