I did fabricate a lot of the metal and did a small amount of welding and yes the welding is done using large pro SIP welding gear with gas, so no horrible birds c**p welds here. If you grind off too much of the welds it will weaken the joint, so as they say, the more metal the better as long as it's solid! We used a top hat and u shaped sections for the chassis rails to replace the originals entirely as both were rotten! I'll make sure my mate sees all your compliments.....
