doveyte2800
Here is my Te2800 rally replica. The build is progressing nicely just got to refit the engine and box after the one that was installed only fired on 2 cylinders. Should hopefully be on the historic rally circuit soon. doveyte2800
The build has been ongoing for about 6 years. We were building it ourselves up untill last year where work commitments meant it would never get finished so she is now with exell motorsport. The build is to historic spec with the intention of going historic rallying. The engine is a 2.8 straight 6 with the getrag 265 gearbox, its running an A" series axle with 4.22 LSD fitted. Currently the engine is standard as should still be producing 200 Bhp on a set of triple 45 dellorto's. The car was originally a right hand drive but when we installed the engine we realised why none were ever produced like this as the steering column fouled the exhaust downpipes so this required the transfer over to left hand drive. The front brakes are volvo 265 vented 4 pot items running carlton 2.2cd discs. What other photo's do people want to see? regards Ian Project images are available to Club Members Only, Click to become an OMOC Member.
