2.2 Thermostat And Water Hoses

Hoping someone can answer a couple easy peasy questions for me :D

Anyone know where each outlet goes?

And what is this threaded hole for? (top part of thermostat)

I'm guess the temp sensor is the bit sticking out at the lower back you can see here?

Using a 2.0 radiator with an electric fan. Was going to run a inline temp sensor for the fan in one of the waterhoses.

Using a 2.0 radiator with an electric fan. Was going to run a inline temp sensor for the fan in one of the waterhoses.

Top outlet goes to the top of the radiator, forward facing lower outlet goes to the waterpump, rear goes to the bottom of the radiator.

Think the threaded hole on the top is for the blue water temp with the 2 pin connector for the injection system if thats what you mean (the one nearest the head). The one on the themostat bolt on cover is a bleed hole.

Yep that is the temp sender for the temp gauge.

Cheers chris, should make it a lot easier to figure out what hoses I need to buy now!

As I'm not using injection I guess I'll seal off the top hole.

I guess the two barbed outlets go to the heater matrix?

I think on the 2.2 the return was into the inlet/exhaust side of the block lower down, the feed is as exclusive opel has shown from the top of the water pump.

Ahhh, forgot about that bit. Thats the problem when you paint the block jet black. So I guess thats 3 holes I can block off then as no injection or throttle body to worry about.
